Inter-Conference
Disciplinary Committee - Shall be responsible for conducting, hearing, ruling
on and carrying out determinations for all inter-Conference rule violations by Conferences,
Teams, Players, and coaches. Each Conference
may have their own Disciplinary Committee, but can refer or defer all
proceedings, actions and rulings to this Committee. A minimum of five (5) members must be on this Committee,
with a minimum of three (3) participating members on any specific matter where
there are no conflicts, nor perceived conflicts, of interest of any of the
voting members. A simple majority vote is required for any ruling, disciplinary
or sanctioning decision. All rulings, disciplinary
or sanctioning decisions are final and must be carried out in an expeditious
manner. All decision must be transmitted
in writing to the President within 24 hours. |
